My oh my, why anyone would not watch the complete live is beyond me! As always, I am so grateful for the way you share from your heart and mind, Deanne. I also admire your grace in sharing what might be viewed as a critical comment and took as a chance to really think about your intent. That says alot about you and it is all good things!

I loved your Sunday Letter about the older woman keeping shop. Your writing always conjures images in my head and reading that letter brought Maud Lewis to mind. Not sure why, maybe her determination?
I am a landscaper here in Katonah, New York and my fave annuals are heliotrope, sweet peas, dahlias and zinnias. Oh, and poppies, lots of Flanders Fields Poppies and I always reread John McCrae’s poem for Memorial Day which we just honored down here.

Dahlias and Zinnias are very pretty! That is a poem that is often read during our remembrance ceremonies as well!

Thank you Deanne & team for your Thursday lives. I enjoy them from start to finish ~ always fun & enjoyable! Thank you as well Deanne for your Sunday letters. I look fwd to those letters as soon as I get up with my coffee ~ it’s like a little visit. “I” don’t care if you use the word “I” a thousand times ~ you’re writing it so ofcourse you are I. Thank you & your team (& what a great team!) for all you do, your teaching, your stories, your humour & sharing your life with us. I greatly appreciate you! 🌷

Hello from Calgary
How is the wool held on the underside when you put the hook through the fabric. I don’t think I do it properly. I don’t think I am doing it correctly. Stitches aren’t need looking.
Love your products. I am a beginner. See you in August🤞🏻on our trek to the
Hello from Calgary.
My question is how to hold the wool on the underside when putting the hook through to grab the wool. I don’t feel I am doing it properly as my stitches are not neat.
Love your show. Love your products.
See you in August on the way to Halifax.

Deanne Fitzpatrick Rug Hooking Studio replied:
Hi Linda, your hand should be loose and you are almost feeding the yarn/wool onto the hook. I usually use my thumb to guide the yarn onto the hook. We have a video on instagram that shows the underside of a frame while it is being hooked on, that may help you! See you in August!

I always feel privileged to receive your Sunday letters. I look forward to them each Sunday as it feels just like getting a letter from a dear friend who is kind enough to share a bit of her life with me. I have never met you in person, but feel like your letters probably sound just like I was sitting having a conversation with you. your personality shines through. Just keep being you. and thanks for the weekly get together on the lives.
