This is the linen I choose to hook on. I find it to be just perfect for what I need. It is a good weave and the wool cloth and yarn just slips right up through it.
This 60 inch wide linen is woven for primitives and regular rug hooking projects. It approximates burlap in its weave but feels like silk. Can it get any better? It is my absolute favorite backing, superb to hook on.
