Thank you for the lives! Will be passing through NS/NB next week and look forward to dropping in and going home with some gems. Window pane wools are on my mind. :)\

I cut my own hair in the 80’s when I lived in Miami. It was short and sassy and I loved it. I still trim my bangs. Thanks Deanne for a great session!

I use Granny Smith’s and Gala together. So they bake completely(no hard pieces) I mix then with all seasoning ( sugar etc.)and let it sit for two hours before putting in the pie shell to bake.As for hair, sometimes I try to do it like the hairdresser and if any piece sticks out funny,I trim it myself. I love the lives and your Sunday news letter. Thank you for all that you give to us

I started cutting my own hair during Covid and have never gone back. I can now cut it when ever it bothers me, no appointment. I’ve had a few times I cut it a little too short, but not any more times than when my professional went a little to short. As long as I don’t want some new look ( it’s been about 20 years with this style) I’m going to keep cutting myself.

Don’t know how that happened- posted twice. Sorry.

Good morning! I use Mac’s for pies and apple crisps, Ambrosia or Crispins for cake if I have any.. I like the Mac’s because they are somewhat tart and they soften up and they are a heritage type thing- connects me with the past. For cake, sometimes I am in the mood for the crisp texture as a little pop when you eat it. As far as hair, since Covid I have let it grow and wind it up. Once in a while I give my husband the scissors and he cuts a couple of inches off. I cut my bangs. Not well, but after a day or two it all blends in. I love it!

I use ,macs or Cortland when making apple pie.

watching the replay with Fernando’s Hideaway playing in the background and I had to laugh as you were hooking in perfect time with the music. I really enjoy the lives and look forward to them. I learn a lot and they are very inspiring

I had difficulty getting into today’s live today. I now see it posted. I listened to last week’s episode instead. What is the most direct entry to the live, for future attempts?
Diana
I think when people cut their own hair, they are trying to save money.

What beautiful cupcakes. Stunning! Your French is great. Will have to converse in French next time I see you. Practice makes all the difference. That back country, one if my faves. I hook with it quite often. Have a great day. Oh yes, I do cut my own hair. My hairdresser left to go back to Scotland years ago and she was kind enough to show me. I have no patience to sit in a chair at a hairdresser.

Have been cutting mine since Covid began. Now it’s easy.

Had a professional hair cut and the next day the sides looked like I had poodle ears…took scissors to it and tapered the hair over my ears …looked much better after the DIY haircut.*-)
