Back at the Beach Roses, Thursday live: Episode 155

On my first trip to Nova Scotia this passed June, I heard about your studio and beginner kits in a yarn shop in Wolfville. When my husband and I were driving to your studio I told him if I owned a shop, I would serve tea and shortbread cookies so people who came to shop would feel like new friends instead of just consumers. So imagine how touched I was when Deanne offered to put the tea on and I received a beautiful prepared oatmeal cookie for not only me but hubby as well! I was so shy because I didn’t know anything about rug hooking (I’ve done needlepoint my whole life) but was so inspired by the beautiful rugs, wool and people in your shop! Thank you for making g me feel like a new friend! I have shared this experience (and your website!) with all my old friends and daughters. I have a new friend who I met at my nieces wedding. She loves to knit so she is saving all her wool bits for me! My new hobbie is a work in progress but I am encouraged each week when I watch your live show.

I made a new friend this week. Her name is Sue and we met through a Live Meditation Series on Zoom. We both had been doing it for several months and discovered we lived in the same city. On Tuesday we met up for tea and coffee and enjoyed a lovely conversation. We will continue our in person meetings. It was very lovely to meet someone with a shared interest.
