I met a lovely lady while I was searching out verel.This lady I never knew gave me verel,no strings attached.I,in turn,sent her a spindle to thank her for her generosity.WE are now cortesponding regularly.She is a wonderful mentor ,and a very accomplished fabric artist,I truly appreciate her .

Good day to you all. I wanted to comment because my new friend was met on Wild With Wool. Maggie is from Colorado and I live in Northern Ontario. We both were active in commenting on rugs or rugs in progress and after awhile we both felt that we would like to keep in touch on messenger and share our work and ideas.
This friendship progressed to where we facetime every 2 or 3 weeks and visit that way for 2 to 3 hours. We have exchanged yarn and wool and as there are no rug hookers in my community Maggie my dear friend is the person I ask to critique and advise on my work when I am stuck.
So I thank you Deanne for your Wild with Wool group for bringing me a now dear friend into my personal and artistic life.
