For three days I will be hosting a small intimate live workshop in my studio where I will work with you directly to hook a unique one of a kind hooked rug. You can choose from a selection of one of a kind patterns that I will be creating for the workshop, or I can help you design the rug you always wanted to make! We will also have a selection of studio patterns.

The three days will focus on creativity, colour, texture and design for rug hooking. I will help you become the rug hooker you want to be. The maximum number of participants for this class will be eight people, so there will be time to to explore and learn together. It will be a unique small group experience.

We have a new kitchen in the studio so there might be some cooking going on. It will be a chance to be part of the studio life for a few beautiful days, and a chance for you to retreat with me into rug hooking. I will teach you what you learn about rug hooking in a small group hands on workshop. We will have to time to talk, tell stories and get to know one another as we hook rugs together.

Most of the three days will be a hooking retreat right here in my studio. I will also be adding some activities that will help free up your creativity and bring joy to your rug hooking.

Lunches and snacks will be a maritime experience with good local food, snacks, local coffee roasters, and of course oatcakes and fruit.

Workshop Hours 10am to 3pm
Workshop Studio open 9 to 5 each day for hooking.

Maximum 6 to 8 participants. This is a small group workshop with lots of time to work directly with me (Deanne!).

$995.00 Canadian (approximately $720 US)

Workshop includes:

A hand drawn one of a kind pattern by Deanne Fitzpatrick, or choose a pattern from the website if there is one there you love, or get assistance in designing your own on linen.

Three days of small group instruction as well as one on one with Deanne.

Coffee, tea, snacks, and three lunches.

A non refundable deposit of $250 is included in the fee.
