Grey Barn in the Field - Rug Hooking Kit 20" X 30"

Grey Barn in the Field is inspired by my love of the countryside. I just love hooking this kind of landscape! When you hook this kit you get to discover the possibilities offered by many different types of wool fibres. 

This kit emphasizes the use of hand spun, natural sheep's wool, fancy wool/yarns, and wool cloth strips to create a field rug with plenty of dimension and a sculptural quality to it. The pattern is drawn on but you rely somewhat on your intuition to create a luxurious and artistic field rug.

This package has everything you need to complete this rug:

• A hand drawn pattern on burlap or linen.
• All the yarn and wool cloth you need to complete the kit.
• A rug hook.
• A colour key to tell you what colours go where.
• A colour picture of the completed rug.
• An illustrated set of instructions.

This kit makes a great wall hanging, table mat, or pillow once it is hooked.

Included in the pattern option:

Please note this kit is handmade with hand-dyed yarn and wool cloth so colours and textures will vary.

"My first kit was 18 by 30, and I finished it in a week! I was so excited. I have designed all of these kits so you can teach yourself, even if you are a beginner. We choose our hand-dyed and specialty colours carefully so your kit will look as much like the picture as possible. We add plenty of wool, but should you run short of anything or need some help with instructions, you can just email us to help you.
