Lorna, who works with me, has for years suggested I make a rug that shows a view out of a window, and then put it in a window frame. So this rug of the blue hydrangeas outside the window, looking over the village and out to the sea is an ode to her. I would suggest though, that you can change the title to the name of a person you know and love, a good friend, a sister, a child, or a parent.
The course that I created for this design is a work-along class. I hook every element in each of the patterns so you can see how I did it. The houses, flowers, the sea, the fields, the hydrangeas, and the sky are all discussed as I hook them to complete each of the four panes of this beautiful kit.
The frame is created by our carpenter and looks like a window with four panes. When you have completed your rug, you attach them in the frame and you will have your beautiful window view.
