Also, tip for the raspy voice from the cold. I lost my voice for 5 months as a teen and had to go for speech therapy after I healed. I was told to hum the “m” sound whenever I got a sore throat to prevent losing my voice again, and it’s worked. Also works if you’ve had to do a lot of talking.
