Deanne, I have two questions about finishing rugs; Do you vacuum all the little bits off and trim it when you’re done? And, do you use anything to preserve the color, like scotchguard?

I just shake mine off and I do not use scotch guard.

We don’t use a vacuum just use our hands to get the little pieces off. After we trim we press the rug and then bind it!
