I enjoyed today’s Live so much. Going over the treasures on your office wall was so generous of you. Thank you. What did you study for your pHD? Was that counselling, as you have mentioned? My cheticamp frame buts up against the dining room table, which has been fine. Suddenly I want my own wall to put up my own precious little objects that bing me memories, joy and who knows, perhaps inspiration. It’s difficult to grab personal space in a one bedroom suite with a husband who has lots of stuff too.
Regarding saying love to people: when I was a child, I never heard that word used – it was known that everyone in the family loved everyone else. Cards were signed with love. As an adult I decided that I wanted my children to know they were loved so I frequently told them, and still do. That and that I was/am proud of them, something else that was unsaid when I was young. As for others, I push myself and have occasionally succeeded in telling an old friend, I love you, but it is difficult for me.

What a lovely peaceful “visit” today ~ very heartwarming. Thank you for sharing the stories behind your special items on your shelves. I love (yes, love!) hearing stories like that. I have many items in my home that are special to me & bring me good memories of times in my life. I can totally relate & appreciated your sharing.
I also have a question ~ if I make small rugs to put hot dishes on for serving, would it burn the wool top or should they be ok? I’m not thinking hot pots, just warm casserole dishes etc. I really enjoy your weekly lives ~ THANK YOU for continuing to do them. 💕🌷

I love your Thursday Live chats. I have some very old hooked rug chair seat pillow covers which i cherish. I love your inspirations, your rug hook demonstrations on that beautiful table from Cheticamp. I love seeing all the gorgeous soft wools and colours. I grew up in NS and migrated West. Listening to you connects me to my past formative years with a bit of nostalgia. Life is good here too on the West Coast. For now I am slowly working on my beginner poppy kit and will have to start another one when I am finished. Thank you, Deanna.

Hello friend, Thank you for sharing the meaning behind your trinkets and how inspiration can come from so many things. Your latest rug is gorgeous. I am usually the first one to say I love you at the end of a phone call and always put the kissy face on my texts. I have noticed a few people hesitate when I say it even though I have known them forever. I never thought about how it can catch someone off guard. Your mother-in-law was right, when we were kids and one would say, "I love ice cream (or whatever), we would yell back, “Well, why don’t you MARRY IT?!” Then we would laugh like crazy. I always think back on my childhood, but watching your streams and rug hooking makes me remember it even more. Thank you for that.

Hi Deanne, I loved your Live today. I have been with your Inspiration group since you began. I look forward to the video every month. It never disappoints. The walk through your special mementoes was very touching. The colours in your rug, and textures, are stunning. I may have to order some field yarn. The design is beautiful.
Lastly, I love your top with ‘Seaside’ on it. Is it sold at your family’s women’s clothing store across from you? Thank you for continuing on with the Lives, it saves mine some weeks days. 😊
