I very much use other art mediums as inspiration for my rug hooking. Though I myself do other art forms I get a lot of inspiration from the paintings, sculpting, and other fiber arts that other artists do. Always looking admiring and thinking about how that might look hooked. Thanks Deanne you’re awesome

What a great surprise to hear I won the “tag the bag”. Thank you!
And yes Angela, I have 2 beautiful German Shepherds – Nika & Angel.

I love experimenting with different art forms. I make sculptures from clay and do pottery, plus dabble in paper arts, creating cyanotypes, painting, crochet and weaving. All of this fun brought me to WomenCreate which led me to MadeTV where I found you Deanne and rug hooking! Now I am truly hooked!! The yarn is so addictive each skein is more beautiful than the last — I really wish I lived closer so I could find out what they feel like 😍

I loved today’s show. Angie running around outside in a towel leaves a vision!
I really like the new Poppies rug. Plus I love Deanne talking about making Rugs.
I have many area of art that I like. I work a lot in woven wool making table runners. And hooking rugs. Thanks Deanne for getting me started

Oh my,I was weak with laughter today.I have know a few hookers to be “in the bag” periodically. Also,I can hear the rumor mill circulating there’s a new nudist collny with a water play theme.Seriously, though, rug hooking has changed my way of seeing art.I am collecting more artbooks, following some artists, and trying to draw.I am not good at this but I am trying.
