We say out here that we can’t pick colors, or draw a pattern or commit to finishing a rug without tearing it out or loving it, and yet we watch you do all of these things. These houses you drew today are different than the ones I have seen you draw before. You are showing us that the mentor continues to grow, so as we should embrace growing and revel in the fact that we are all doing it together. Doris came to our home to meet with our rughookers and was so giving of her talent.We had supper later as a thank you and I so enjoyed her company.I had your book with her picture and she signed it for me.She and her husband were truly lovely people and I feelvery blessed to know her.
