(Annual) 2026-27: Subscription To The Inspiration Sessions

Please note: this is an ongoing annual subscription to the Inspiration Sessions! It recurs every 365 days.

If you are already on a subscription and wish to continue: You don't have to do anything. Your subscription will renew automatically at the discounted rate! 

This year I decided to add something big and wonderful to The Inspiration Sessions to help build real community.

Earlier this year we started The Makers Meetup and created a small and thriving group hosted online by the studio that meets every weekday afternoon. In this group I watched people form real friendships around rug hooking and learn from each other.

I thought, wouldn’t it be wonderful if we offered this to all the members of The Inspiration Sessions? We could get to know each other as well as learn and grow in our rug hooking.

It just made sense to bring these two groups together. It means more opportunity for community. It means more connection. It also means that all members of these groups will get even more value with their subscription. And so can you if you join us.

This is a big change, and it’s a big risk for the studio. But I believe that if we take this chance, together, we can build something even more beautiful for the studio and for our community.

The Inspiration Sessions now includes:

• A monthly one hour recorded video where I hook on my newest rug each month in my private studio, sharing my step-by-step process with you.
• A monthly live Zoom hook-in with Deanne. We do a Q&A where you can ask for help or get feedback on your rugs. (If you can’t make it live, these are recorded to watch later at your convenience!)
• Daily live Zoom hook-ins with the community and studio staff every weekday at 2pm AT (1pm ET/10am PT). These are friendly, casual sessions - you can come as often or as little as you like. Your rug hooking group is there waiting for you.

Who are the Inspiration Sessions for?

The Inspiration Sessions are for all rug hookers, from beginners to experts. Whether you use kits and patterns, or draw all your own designs these sessions are for you.

If you want to build your rug hooking intuition around colour, texture, design, and have some company while you hook these sessions are perfect for you.

If you are looking for inspiration to keep your creative juices bubbling, need a creative jump start, or need to get unstuck The Inspiration Sessions are for you.

Do I have to show up at a certain time for the lessons?

No. You can watch any of the lessons with Deanne at anytime you want. You do not have to show up at a certain time. They are recorded and waiting for you at your convenience.

Do I have to show up at a certain time for the Zoom hook-ins?

The monthly hook-ins with Deanne are recorded and posted for anyone who cannot attend live to view later. The daily hook-ins with the community are not recorded.

What do I need for materials?

All you need is the piece you’re currently working on. The hook-ins are a great place to get some hooking done with a friendly and supportive community.

Does the price remain the same?

Yes, the price you joined at will be the price you pay monthly or yearly. It is your locked in price.

How are The Inspiration Sessions delivered?

The video lessons are hosted on our website, and are found on the Courses page of your account. Our website is accessible on desktop and mobile devices. The hook-ins take place on Zoom.

When are The Inspiration Sessions released?

Each month’s video lesson is released around the mid-point of the month. We’ll send you an email to let you know when it becomes available to watch.

When are the live hook-ins?

The hook-ins with Deanne generally happen on the last Thursday of the month, but this is subject to change with Deanne’s schedule. We will notify you of the exact time and date of the upcoming monthly hook-in when the monthly videos are released so you’ll know ahead of time.

The daily community hook-ins are every weekday at 2pm AT (1pm ET/10am PT). All hook-ins run approximately one hour.
