This one day workshop will focus on the importance of blending and colour work in all aspects of rug hooking. I think the secret to a good rug is in the blending and colour work within that piece. I will teach you the important ways that I use colour in my rugs and how I hook in a way that allows those colours to blend together to create light and shade.
It will be a day about colour and how we use it to create strong sensitive combinations in our rugs. You will learn the important technique of blending as you experiment with colour and texture.
It will be a day to celebrate the joy of rug hooking with me in my studio. Maybe we'll have a cake!
Workshop Hours 10am to 3pm
Studio will be open 9 to 5.
You will receive :
A full and beautiful day in the studio with instruction and one on one with Deanne
A medium or large pattern of your choice on linen with an inspirational wool texture pack.
Coffee, tea, snacks, and a light lunch.
