January ~ Drying the Clothes ~ Workshop: Studio Workshop Series

It’s one of those lovely days with just enough breeze to dance through the laundry on the line. Come along and discover how to hook this delightful rug for yourself!

Mary Williams has been hooking for 25 years and has been working at Deanne Fitzpatrick Studio for thirteen years. She is taking the DFS Teachers Course this fall. Mary has hooked many of Deanne's patterns including The Mystery Art Project.

Come join us for an afternoon where you will learn how to hook this new DFS pattern of Drying Clothes on the Line. Mary will teach you:

• simple shading techniques to make the clothes blowing in the breeze realistic
• the secrets of hooking a person
  
• hooking a sky with lots of movement
• simple techniques to enhance the landscape

This workshop includes a complete kit on linen, tea, oatcakes and instruction, and a beautiful afternoon at Deannes Studio. Deanne will likely be around to help pour the tea!

You just need to bring your hook and frame.
