What participants are saying about the Inspiration Sessions...
Working in series and how you start to do that.
Balance doesn’t mean symetry.
Random is hard because people naturally put things into patterns.
Name the mood you are trying to create.
These are all things that I know, but thanks so much for the reminders.
I like problem solving too.
My last piece got unhooked completely when I was about 1/3 done because I was so done try to fix it and have it come together. Some times " you have to know when to hold them, and know when to fold them".
This was a “fold them” moment. But it was the first time I’ve ever done that.
So thanks again for the reminders. And lovely session. I look forward to seeing where this series takes you. ~ Maxine
I also so enjoyed learning about Susan Sutherland’s exciting rug hooking experience in Guatemala as well as the very thought provoking ideas you and she shared at the end about each of us ‘telling our own stories’ in our rug making.
So grateful to be a member of this group! ~ Lee Ann Hamilton
I like to hook from one section to another in my rugs, bouncing around a little. Something I learned from you. It helps create balance without the rug suffering from perfect symmetry. It also prevents boredom and helps me to stay energized. Thanks, as always, Deanne! ~ Hedy
What a wonderful session, Deanne. Once again you have inspired me to try new and creative hooking ideas. Thank you. ~ Janet
