I’m watching and listening to the recorded live this evening (as I do most Thursdays) because I was hooking all afternoon with my local group at the library’s Books and Hooks program. Our library provides us with space to hook two afternoons a week, and one Saturday a month for those who can’t make it during the week. Books and hooks is a partnership with our group. Everyone is welcome, from longtime rughookers to people wanting to learn.

Great show. Enjoyed the library, new kit project, and sky hooking discussions. Having everyone miked makes a wonderful difference in the interactive discussions. Love the team of great personalities and expertise you have brought together Deanne. You are all a spirit lift during a time of exhaustion for many of us in the US and those, like yourselves, surrounding us.
Thank you! 🩵🌿

Many thanks for the live.
I really enjoyed listening to the book club selection but had trouble stopping it. Then signed out the next one by same author to encourage me to keep on hooking. Hooking and listening has taken on huge importance to me as a diversion because world politics is SO upsetting.
Thanks , also, for the reminder about libraries. As a former library board member I am very appreciative of my local library which gets a lot of books for me via interlibrary loan. This also helps to keep my mind on other things. Taking children to the library provides a great alternative to screens. My library even has speakers and a repair cafe. YAY! for libraries and DFS!
Let’s keep the book club going- that was fun. What’s next?
