Just a note about painting a French door. Don’t worry about cutting it in against the glass. Just use a flat blade scraper and scrape it off the glass later. Works so much better! I think the door would be really cool black

If there are only 15 of us in the challenge then we have a better chance to win but I would trade that for 15 people in my area that like to hook currently there are zero . So next year twice as many would be an excellent goal.

My beginner problem is that when I’m hooking with wool cloth strips the hoops come up twisted.

Competitiveness depends on many things. When I was a young mother I made my children new clothes for the first day of school, wanting them to be their best looking. For years I wanted to have the best food at dinner parties. As life goes on, priorities change. I always want to do my best creative work but at the same time that I try to reach for better I have to accept physical limitations that change my expectations.
