Last night I could have easily finished the rug I was working on. Then I remembered my word for the year was savour. There was no need to rush through it to plod on. The rug might be better if I waited until the light of day to see the colours better . So I did. At night everything looks a little different and I was finishing the bottom of the sky below the trees. I felt like that section deserved a little special attention.
There is no need to rush through a rug. Enjoy it. Savour it. Like a good dinner or a nice cup of tea. There is time. Work on it , get it done, but do it attentively and with joy.
Drop by and have some tea and homemade oatcakes.
