I have toads all around my yard, even in some of my flower pots on the porch. I have some baby frogs (and tadpoles from last fall still) in a horse trough pond in my garden. And I have a couple of nests with baby swallows. Mockingbirds (who will even croak like a frog). Hummingbirds.

I’ve had a grizzly just off my deck at my cabin at Gun Lake in B.C.
Thank-you, Joe, for bringing in the flowers. I’m surprised that your columbines are in bloom. My blue ones are much later.
Thanks for the lives- they are so much fun!

Lately, we are seeing bears and big horn sheep. We see deer daily.

We are in Ottawa, more urban than suburban. We have it all: mice, squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons, groundhogs, foxes. We had 3 turkey vultures watching something from the neighbors roof. I love how, we have nature right in our yard. Once, we had a lynx!
