What a delightful show! My mother, who died this year, aged 100, had wonderful words of wisdom that my children and I live by: When a dinner guest once jumped up to help clear the table, she dropped what happened to be a treasured platter, which smashed to pieces when it hit the floor. Quieting her apologies, and cleaning up the pieces, Mum said, “People are more important than things.”
