I just wondered why you don’t cut your wool longer when you do a long stretch of hooking in the same colour ?

Deanne Fitzpatrick Rug Hooking Studio replied:
It is easier to cut when you are using scissors, not as much fabric to cut through.

I so, so missed the Thursday Lives over the holidays. Happy you had a good holiday but very happy that you are back!

I am excited for the new offerings to get some of the wool yard back to the states! I have missed them.

We’ve missed picking out the beautiful coloured wools for our us customers, we have more and more products on our website every week.

I struggle with how close to hook each loop because I see a little backing when I hook every two holes or sometimes every other hole. Do I need to go back and fill in that tiny space?

Deanne Fitzpatrick Rug Hooking Studio replied:
If you can see your backing then add more loops, if you hold your rug to the light and can see light coming through that is another great way to tell if you need to add more loops.
