Love the palettes Kayleigh and Angela put together! The colors in the Cattail rug are favourites of mine but the alternative palates were inspiring!

Blueberries! & I make blueberry grunt. It’s a favourite old Nova Scotia recipe that is so simple, but everyone loves.

MMM Donna made some blueberry grunt this week, it looked delicious.

Haskap berries! Hands down; they survive northern winters, are the first to bloom and set fruit, are so very tasty, soft without pits or seedy bits! Colour is gorgeous as well. Sublime.
Happy hooking!

It is hard for me to pick a favorite berry. I eat strawberries every day in my cereal. I love pie and pastry with any kind of berry; blackberry, raspberry, blueberry or strawberry. When I am lucky I can find black raspberry jam. Does anyone see black raspberries often? I’ve never seen any berries growing except strawberries. I didn’t know there was a high bush and a low bush blueberry.
I think it is a good idea to offer the first month of the Inspiration Sessions for $5, they are an absolute gift as folks will find out with an introductory offer. I still remember the first one I watched.
One thing I am finding with my hooking is that I don’t make lines thick enough. When my rug is complete things just vanish. But I know what the solution is. Make more rugs! Thank you for another Thursday Live.

Thanks Mary. It is exciting to have new members come on. I too love pastry… maybe more than the berries. But together…divine.

We have so many blueberries in our area, the low bush blueberries are often smaller sweater and a tad tarte. That could be bias though… I have never seen a black raspberry. Thank you for joining the live Mary!

Didn’t know there were two types of blueberry bushes! Blueberry is my favorite. It was nice seeing you draw out patterns today.
