    I have a back and hip problem. and I have a fleece I sit on.It is amazingly comfortable but I do feel guilty that a sheep was killed.

    I forgot the most important reason I love wool. You can create hooked rug tapestries!!! How could I forget that- by pulling up one loop at a time we can create beauty.

    How I live wool, let me count the ways.
    1. It smells earthy
    2. I feels soft and is not slippery
    3. It takes dye well
    4. The design of the fibers are so unique. It’s made to hold together and points to a creator.
    5. It’s warm
    6. It breathes
    7. It decomposes and it good to the earth.
    8. You can put it in the bottom of your shoes if you have should that don’t keep your feet very warm and it will felt all by itself.
    9. You can spin it.
    10. You can felt it.
    11. You can weave it
    12. You can twist it around two sticks or one and make sweaters with it.
    13. It great for bandaging wounds.
    14. It keeps the sheep warm!

    I’ve always used the new applique scissors for rug hooking, so easy to trimming cloth or yarn. I highly recommend them. Wool takes color so well and gives you so many possibilities.
