I washed my dishes for 30 years by hand. Redid the kitchen 2 years ago and put in a dishwasher. I LOVE IT,! I hate hand washing. I have to wash pots by hand…hate it …. sometimes i just rinse them and put them in the dishwasher. Don’t know what i ever did without it. It gets the dishes sparking CLEAN!

I use the dishwasher but my husband does not. Always tell him..the dishwasher will fill up faster if you would donate your dirty dishes to the cause? He gets mad when he will run out of forks or a bowl because I like at least half a load before running it. The moral of the story..the dishwasher can cause problems in your relationship😂😂😂

I always wash by hand. Even tho I have a dishwasher.

Good day from Lincolnville, Maine – joined a little late – have a dishwasher but love to do dishes by hand – like a meditative sort of thing. However when we have company we like to use the dishwasher……

I use my dishwasher everyday ! I don’t have a dishwasher at the cottage and wish I did!
Have you thought of releasing a collection of “Deanne’s Favourites” (wool/yarn) ?
Thanks for your “lives” .

yes,I use my dishwasher every day.Big pots are handwashed.I had a habit of doing my dishes in evening but a service man told me it is not safe to run them unattended, even a brand new one,and regardless of the brand.I just want to pass that tip along. This man had worked in the industry for years and was a very kind and ethical man.

OOPs! Got on a 11 EDT.
Yes ,I use my dishwasher. Usually empty it every other day for two people. I never put in my good cookware or antique, family china or some wooden handled Danish eating utensils. I like the idea of 3 icebergs. I love odd numbers. However, I may like the balance when I see what you are hooking where the 3rd iceberg would have gone.
I have not been doing much hooking. Scheduled for carpel tunnel surgery Nov. 20. Won’t be able to wash Thanksgiving dishes. What a tragedy, Ha !

Yes, I have a dishwasher! Use it every day. & empty it in the evening…… and if there isn’t enough room for large pots or bowls, I wash them by hand. At the end of the day, all the dishes & kitchen are clean.

sorry – not sure why that posted twice. LOL

Can you please comment on loop height, tightness vs looseness? I struggle with making consistent low loops when I want to loosen up, let it up more for better relief and more texture…???

Good Morning! As you were talking about the Mystery Art Project my last one arrived! What beautiful colors! I have really enjoyed doing this project.

I use my dishwasher even though I live alone. The kitchen is neater when dishes are not in clear sight. Only plastic containers and pots and pans are washed by hand. I think it’s also more sanitary.

Dishwasher just died during my family’s reunion… Dishwashing was a family affair for awhile. Just installed the new one yesterday, very glad to have it back. Kitchen is so much less cluttered, and dishes just sparkle more. So yes – I use it!
