I have an old pair of Caribou cotton leggings that I love and I’ve tried to keep them going by mending the crotch because I can’t find anything to replace them. I wish I could have gone to a Leonard Cohen concert. What a sexy man!!
I have been adding patches to my Dad’s old WOOL tartan ( very similar to the Dunbar tartan) housecoat for many years. The older I get, the more I appreciate the warmth of the wool. I have a lot of wool in my stash from de-pleated tartan skirts and I think I can find enough red of similar tartans to make a new robe. I really need a warm robe in the morning in May and Sept. at my summer cabin in the mountains. Now I even bring the old robe home for fall, winter, and spring mornings. I just have to get at that project….
