The faded old rugs long forgotten from cottage floors and drafty houses are the inspiration to re-imagine the traditional colours and techniques in rug hooking from long ago to today. The old fashioned traditional hit and miss that my mom loved, the  antique roses and simple motifs of traditional hooked rugs, were the inspiration for these beautiful mats.
