Hand dyed Studio Yarn right here in the studio by our Colour Queen. Colour Fallen Acorn ,100% pure wool, 2ply.


Our "Studio-Dyed" wools  are dyed in-house by artists.   Yarns  are normally dyed in lots of eight and our colour fabrics by the yard. Each time we create a new dye lot we update the picture on the website to ensure that you can see what you are ordering.  No two are exactly alike. Water temperature, dyes, mordants and repositioning the wool  all affect the colouring of the final product. 

Dying wool is an art form and each skein is as unique as it is beautiful.

If you are going to require multiple items for a larger project, we do recommend that you order your projected needs for that colour of product all at once to help ensure your items are from the same dye lot as much as possible.
