Our prior winter online workshops lead to more completed rugs than any workshop I have given. All year people send pictures of their completed rugs and I see how much learning and joy they have gotten from the courses. This makes me love to do them.  I love seeing your success.

In this rug you will hook to create your own field rug story, your own love of spring and discover new possibilities while using your own favourite colours, or our palette.

(Kits for this course will be made with product that is a close as possible to the original kit materials.  However due to supplier changes, it may include alternative products in the same color schemes required.)

This field rug will be exciting and challenging to hook, but with the step by step instruction offered in these online videos, I can lead you through it. In this course we will be:

  • Creating a rug with meaning and warmth.
  • Handling materials to create flow within your rug.
  • Looking at how to handle a rug with three sections..foreground, middle ground and background.
  • Establishing strong foreground presences in field rugs.
Focusing on relaxing as you hook and drawing loosely to express freedom of movement.
