Gears for Cheticamp Frame

These gears are locally crafted in Nova Scotia. They are made of steel so they are great for holding a rug tight on its frame. You will receive one set of gears and a tightening rod.

Whether you are making your own Cheticamp frame, or adding longer dowels to it, these are what you are looking for. 

The gears are approximately 4 inches in diameter (from point to point), the centre hole for placing on the dowel rod is approximately 1 inch in diameter, and the approximate diameter of the screw holes is 1/8th inch.  

If you wish you can paint them or rub them with mineral oil to retain the finish and prevent rusting.
