I really like to simmer on the comox lake. I float around and hum and sing any song that pops in my head. I have to say the Newfoundland climate suits me very well, as I am not a fan of heat at all, I am a quick wilter, somewhat like a wildflower after being picked.

The beautiful rug on the wall behind Deanne with all the houses, pine trees and flowers on the bottom looks like it would make a wonderful “Christmas Village” hooking. Just a thought.

I love the reference to “simmer”. You are so correct Deanne the entire world needs to simmer. I simmer each and everyday.. and it always ivolves something to do with rug hooking. It’s a routine of mine, visiting my wool room, sometimes just to touch or smell the wool. Sometimes just a quick visit. Sometimes it’s an entire day. I make time everyday for a visit….you are right it puts me in the simmer mood.
