This is the first time I’ve seen the finished Sea Garden Abstract. I’m so glad you did this second one. The first one, in the blues and greens, was interesting but it didn’t grab me. I love the new one! It’s a fantastic illustration of how color choice can completely change the look, feel and emotional response to a piece.

I loved the flow of cozy conversation between you and Teresa this morning. How fortunate is she to have learned the joy that is rug hooking. I love what she said about all the stitches leaning on each other for support. That was such a perfect description!

Enjoyed this episode very much today, as I hooked on my “Daisy Cottage” (aka “Starfish Cove”, where the starfish have morphed into daisies here on the Alberta rolling prairie. I’m descended from the Rennies of Kilsyth, a bit NE of Glasgow, so it was lovely to watch a Scots gal learn to hook at the studio. I just know she’ll keep on with it in her new Nova Scotia home.
