The clothesline reminded me of my youth and how my mom would hang the clothes on the line. We were 5 kids and she would be hanging out underwear from the biggest to the smallest. My cousin was visiting one day while the laundry (underwears) was on the line and he was guessing who they were belonging to! We were pissing in our pants with laughter.
I visited Deanne Studio this past Monday ahead of the PEI festival. I was where I wanted to be: full of inspirations and meeting amazing people and staff.
Thanks for this.

The clothesline reminded me of Canada Day this year. As I looked out my window over the kitchen sink to watch the Fraser River I noticed my neighbour’s clothesline. Instead of the usual they had three Canadian flag towels hanging from the line! What a statement-it warmed my heart and gave me a laugh.
I also got a good laugh from the letter the lady gave you to read. As an 81 year old I found it hilarious.
Love the puffins and the live. Thank-you.

Hi Deanne , when the opportunity arises and there are a few minutes available in your schedule could you please talk about the best lamps to use for hooking? I like to hook (wool strips) in the evenings but the side lamp’s light is too diffused. So, what particularly do you use to hook in late evening? I am a beginner and I am hoping a good strong light will help guide my hook! Oh, I wish! Thank you!

You can get small lights that have a clip at the end to attach to your frame, they are similar to book lamps but bigger. They are great because the lamps are often flexible and you can move light in any direction you need.

I generally turn on my over head light when I hook at night instead of a lamp. There are lamps that are made for craft and working on craft that give good natural light.
