Journal: off the frame

It is off the frame , not bound and framed. In real life I like it but when I look at this picture of it I really like it. Sometimes you can see it better in a picture than you can in real life because of the distance it gives you. 

I love the palette and have started hooking a second one in a similar palette but I am experimenting more. I feel like I have more leeway now that I have completed one. That could be good, or not so good. Sometimes with a recipe, when you do not follow it the second time it is not as good. But sometimes it is better. The thing is that making rugs is not about recipes. It is about art and art is about experimentation. 

I love the design, I think I really made s nice stride here and I plan to keep working on it.
