Journal: Sometimes you have a lump in your throat.

My friend sent me a poem that she wrote yesterday.
Another brought me soup and biscuits.
For no reason, just friendship.
It is these little thing that you rely on when suddenly you are slightly stressed
and perhaps have a lump in your throat.
Small things sometimes happen.
You are taken aback.
You find yourself gone astray.
Maybe you are unable to focus.
I think then about the poem, the soup, the walk, the friendship
and I think about what is on my frame
and I try to imagine it, how it will be.
I hook it in my head, then I go to my frame
and hook it for real.
They are never the same, what I dream and what I hook.
I have learned that is ok, one feeds the other.
They belong together.
